So uhhh... time got away from me, apparently.

I closed my eyes for a moment - this was back in August, I believe - and miraculously time-warped into October. Wasn't it July last month? Where did it all go?!

Heck, I even got my wisdom teeth out lightning-fast.

I was seeing my orthodontist for the semi-yearly checkup to make sure my retainers are still fine and dandy, when he suddenly looks at an x-ray and says, "oh, you should have had your wisdom teeth out this summer."

So I'm like.
Oh. Okay.

Two days later I go in to see my oral surgeon, who smiles warmly down at my open mouth and white-knuckled grip on the chair, informing me that he had a cancellation the following day and would I like to come in for The Operation?

I did.
They gave me a sweet combo of laughing gas and general anesthetic.
I woke up happy enough.

On the drive home, we were approaching the single large hill to our house and I suddenly point out (a tad deliriously) to my mother,
"Der are tuu."
She doesn't miss a beat.
"Okay. Which hill shall we take? How about the one on the right."
I ponder this for a moment, idly poking at my still-numb lip in a druggy haze.
"Nuhh. 'Un on 'eh leff."

So we take 'the one on the left' and I am reduced to a babbling, half-starved corpse for about a week.

It was unpleasant, but not terrible.
And I got to write a totally pointless and drawn-out journal entry about it! BOO-YAH.

Anyway, hi guys, just thought I'd like... you know... say stuff.

I want to think of something interesting to put here.
And I want it to snow this winter, but snow doesn't happen where I live.
And I want an owl named Squidge.
And, more importantly, I think I want to go to bed now.
